Classic Time Pieces

Vintage....Characterized by excellence,maturity,andenduring appeal."Classic"
Vintage watches are mechanical watches made prior to the "1970's, that is when Quartz hit the market.
Because of the popularity of mass produced quartz watches, most watch companies that produced vintage mechanical watches have since gone out of business. Several other companies that were once bold leaders in the watch making industry have consolidated and been absorbed into a few large watch houses that share mass produced parts. Unfortunately, they now bear little resemblance to the companies that originally bore their name. " They just don't make them like they used to."
They are examples of fine workmanship " Classics" not made anymore.

How to use Vintage Watches.

Take the watch in your left hand, shake it well for the first time & wind it fully.
Hand winding watches should be wound daily.
The best time to wind your watch is in the morning, the watch will have more "Power"when you are most active, and will keep acurate time.  If your a "Night" person then the opposite would apply.
A "Self-Winding" or "Automatic" should be shaken when you start your day aswell.
Most all Vintage Watches are not waterproof, even before washing your hands you should remove your watch.  Remember :  These are Classic Time Pieces.........
